A little history on TR Reed Enterprises, Inc.

TR Reed was started in late 1997 initially building aircraft cabinetry for Bombardier Aerospace. The business started to grow rather quickly and the following year TR Reed decided to expand its capabilities and add a machine shop since the company was starting to spend a significant amount of money on outsourced machined parts. The machine shop division of TR Reed started on June 1, 1998, with one machinist/programmer and one Fadal 3016  VMC. Again as the business grew a Mazak lathe was added to the machine shop in November of 1998. By adding the Mazak TR Reed expanded its capabilities from being just a milling shop to now being a milling and turning shop.

We then began to add more machines over the years and achieved our AS9100B approval in 2007. Which lead us to build all types of machine parts from interior cabinetry parts to airplane chair parts for three large aircraft chair manufactures and even some cinema accessory parts for an industry leader in that field.  TR Reed grew to 17 CNC Machines of all types including 4 5-Axis Mills and full sheet metal capabilities and also had great relationships with many major outside processing vendors which gave us the capability to deliver a finished product to our over 30 customers in North America. In May of 2011, the owner of TR Reed Enterprises Inc made an asset equipment sell deal with Greenpoint Technologies Inc. with the retention of employment of the owner and all of its employees of TR Reed Enterprises Inc.

In early April of 2019 TR Reed leased a new building and relaunched the machine shop from the ground floor again with the original owner, the very first employee of the machine shop and the owner’s son which was one of the original employees of TR Reed. We are very enthusiastic to bring back the TR Reed name and product to our customers!
